VAT number

We have recently taken over an online store directed to German customers, we are registered for VAT purposes in various countries including Germany. Should we -in details of our company available for our customers so like in the terms and conditions, privacy policy, include our main VAT number (so the GB one) or also or only the DE VAT Number?

Answer:

The VAT number is allocated to legal entities and not to individuals so it does not constitute personal data as per the EU GDPR.

If you have just one website which collects data from users you should list both controller entities with their registered address so the users can know who are the data controllers. Is not absolutely necessary to mention the VAT number the contact details should be enough.
