I am not sure if I have understood your question 100%, but a printer can have information stored in an internal memory (it is related with the confidentiality), you can modify this information, or maybe you can also modify the configuration of the printer (it is related to the integrity), and finally maybe you cannot access to this information and/or print information because the device has an error (it is related to the availability).
By the way, for some companies the mobile phones and smartphones are “mobile devices” instead “hardware”, because have specific threats/vulnerabilities.
