Getting the company on board for ISO 9001
Hello Strahinja - I appreciate you reaching out. I work for a small (35 employees) specialty chemical manufacturing company that is not ISO 9001 certified, They are not regulated by the FDA but obviously have considerable OSHA and DHS oversight. Anyway they are only beginning to feel the need to and ISO 9001 type process approach in large part because they are sole source suppliers for big companies like Dupont and Corning, and these companies Quality systems are now reaching further downstream. Anyway I appreciate all the tools and views into the templates but what I really need is the case to get them off the fence! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Answer:
The best way to get the company on board for ISO 9001 implementation is to present to the top management the benefits of the implementation. As you already stated, the major clients often require companies to be ISO 9001 certified in order to ensure quality product or service, but there are also a lot of other benefits from getting ISO 9001 certificate.
