Green field plant IATF certification

I don't think there is any relationship between Green Plant set up and IATF 16949:2016 certification. In order to obtain the IATF 16949: 2016 certificate, it is required to produce parts for the automotive sector for cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles as OEM (original equipment manufacturer) or OES (original equipment service). It does not matter whether it is a green plant or not. 

In addition, at least 12 months of process target data shall be ready. You can use the IATF Rules 5 book for detailed information for IATF certification.

Actually my query is about data collection requirement prior to the certification audit.

Is it mandatory to have process and product related data (such as Internal PPM, Customer PPM, Supplier PPM, process verification records, inspection reports, product/process audit reports etc.) of last 12 months before audit. Or we can directly go for the certification audit with plant quality objectives and data for last one or two months.

Automotive customer satisfaction shall be tracked by metrics such as quality performance, shipping performance, premium freight, number of complaints, etc. and this is mandatory for IATF 16949: 2016. For this subject, you can refer to Article 9.1.2.1 of the IATF 16949:2016 standard.
