Our Registrar auditor communicated that we are not performing our internal audits correctly. We schedule our audits for each element of the standard and perform the audit of our processes to each element of the standard. He stated that you must perform the audits for each process (inputs, outputs, interactions: Turtle Diagram) and how it links to the standard. What is the correct method?

The auditor is referring to process audit and Turtle Diagram is the usual tool where you are describing a process. I can see that you have done an internal audit of the system as needed, also there are two more audit types that you should perform process audit and product audit. The correct method is to perform all three types of audits.

Thank you for your quick response.
Another question please: Can the QMS/Manufacturing Process/Product Audits be encompassed into one Internal Audit Report or is it required to be individual audits? Or can the Manufacturing Process and Product Audit be one Internal Audit, since the manufacturing process is specific to the product (Stampings)
You can have one Internal Audit Report, you just need to have different audits for all three types of audits. The manufacturing process is not the same as product audit, in product audit you are auditing the product itself against specification you have.
