ISO 9001 in hospitals

"I’ve been in consulting for blood banks on ISO 9001 for many years. Now, I would like to start counseling hospitals. My concern is about convincing hospital heads to start an ISO 9001 certification process. What would stimulate their curiosity and give them the desire to see an advantage in getting certified for ISO 9001. (if I would say in a direct question: What would be added to their ongoing management?)”
