Organizational resilience is related to the capacity of the organization to return back to normal conditions after an adverse situation, while business continuity management is related to the practices to ensure that an organization can recover from extreme and immediate situations that can threaten its existence.

Please note that business continuity is a specific adverse situation, so the concept of resilience is wider than business continuity. For example, the current COVID-19 pandemic is an adverse situation that is not immediate (its effects will last for years), and although organizations may have business continuity actions to handle the initial impacts (e.g., lockdown, death of critical personnel, etc.), if they are not resilient, they may not be able to survive on this "new normal".
