Procedure for document and record control

In reference to the procedure for control of documents and records, is it exclusively for documents that have to do with the ISMS or does it apply to all the documentation in general of the company?

ISO 27001 allows you to use Procedure for document and record control in a way that suits you best - if you want it can be applied only to your ISMS, or you can use it for all the documents in your company if you find it useful.
