My doubt is on calibration certificate . When we send an equipment for calibration, we need to obtain calibration certificate for the equipment to be calibrated. But does the standard mandate to get calibration certificate of the master equipment used to calibrate our equipment.

Answer:

The measuring equipment should be calibrated by either accredited laboratory, in which case the accreditation testifies that the calibration is performed properly, or by the organization itself, in which case the master equipment should be calibrated by the external laboratory.
