What processes does ISO 9001 covers?

Obviously as we manufacture sheds we want to ensure that all our sheds are of the required quality and therefore will need to adjust our processes in manufacturing - does ISO 9001 also look at processes in your business such as sales or marketing?
Answer:
ISO 9001 basically covers all the process that affect the quality of the product or service and customer satisfaction, that includes purchasing, design and development, production and services provision, warehousing, transportation, etc. Only process that is usually excluded from the scope is accounting since it doesn't affect directly the customer satisfaction or quality of product or service but it can also be included in the QMS.

We're also looking into becoming ISO 9001 certified. Does it cover disciplinary or staff sickness procedures?
No, according to ISO 9001:2015 it is not mandatory to include in the quality management system any disciplinary or staff sickness procedures/policies
