When clause 8.3.5 talks about design and developmentoutputs, it is important to remember that this is not talking about theproducts and services that will be created, but rather the design information thatwill be used to create them. Design and development outputs are things such asdrawings, test procedures, specification, etc.
So, clause 8.3.5d is asking you to ensure that your designdocumentation includes the information needed for the intended purpose of theproduct, and the safe creation of the product (provision). Do you identify thecharacteristics needed to safely make and use your product? This check shouldtake place during your design verification when you compare the design outputsto the design inputs.
