Conducting an internal Audit

I am a management trainee and I was recently certified as an internal auditor for ISO 1400:2015 and ISO 9001:2015.

I will be auditing the quality department in our company ( a manufacturing company). I have prepared the checklist for the same.

I need advice on how to go about the audit process so as to get the best out of it both for me and the auditees.

You prepared your checklist, you know what you want to ask (to who), what you want to check (documents and records), and what you want to see (where). Prepare your itinerary and the sequence of the audit. Prepare and send your audit plan.
