Controlling a Table of Contents
Is it required by ISO 9001:2015 that manufacturing binders on the Production floor — that the Table of Contents are controlled?
My new boss at work thinks it is a waste of time to maintain “controlled” Table of Contents for a binder of controlled docs.
Is there information that I can show my boss?

ISO 9001:2015 does not require a Table of Contents.
However, as soon as you consider a Table of Contents as part of your set of manufacturing controlled documents, that Table of Contents becomes a document requiring control.
