The Scope of the QMS is specifically defined as everything within the direct control and authority of the company. The purpose is to ensure consistent provision of quality products and services to its customers, ensuring minimal non-conformances.
Can you give me some guidance as to what else needs to be included as i am stumped.
Answer:
When defining scope of the QMS, you need to state exactly to what products or services it applies, what processes and what locations. Just saying that the scope of the QMS is everything within the control of the company is too vague and doesn't really says what your company is producing or what service is delivering, on what locations, etc.
For more information about defining the scope, see: How to define the scope of the QMS according to ISO 9001:2015 https://advisera.com/9001academy/knowledgebase/how-to-define-the-scope-of-the-qms-according-to-iso-90012015/
i f I have two products , could I include only one in the scope and ignore the other or I must cover all my products in my QMS
You can cover with the scope only one product, but you just need to write that in your document about the scope of QMS
