Questions to be asked in an audit checklist

Some questions can be:

• What kind of tests are done here? (clause 8.6 of ISO 9001:2015)
• Are those tests part of a plan? Do you have a plan stating what to test, when to test, by whom, with what sampling size, with what equipment, and according to what specifications? (8.1)
• Can I see the plan? Is it approved and updated? (7.5)
• Can I see evidences that the plan is being followed? (7.5)
• What do you do when the result is NOK? How do you treat nonconformity results? Can I see evidences of that? (8.3 or 8.2)
• Are those specifications approved and updated? (7.5)
• Is testing equipment calibrated? Can I see evidences of that? Can I see evidences of validation of calibration results? (7.1.5)
• Who performed these tests? Are they competent? Can I see evidences of their competence? (7.2)
• What are the organizational knowledge requirements for those working in the final product testing laboratory (7.1.6)
