For example, this morning I worked with a programmer that was speaking about the risk of using a module bought instead of one developed inside. One last point, besides supplier evaluation, I would consider an evaluation of the software itself, does it perform what is supposed to do?

Thanks for answering this. Well, this open source software will be used in the final delivered product to the customer. I suppose that suppliers evaluation doesn't related to purchasing as much as if the supplier services/products will be used in the building final product, right?
If you check ISO 9001:2015 clause 8.4.1, you will see that you have just mentioned 8.4.1 a). You can have also 8.4.1b) and 8.4.1 c)
