Supplier Scorecards
Hello ,
As a company certified to IATF 16949, we are required to share scorecards with our key suppliers. However, some of our key suppliers are accessed through local distributors, and we do not have direct contact with the manufacturers.
Could you please clarify the recommended approach in this situation:
- Should the scorecards be based on the distributor, the manufacturer, or both?
- How should we handle missing inputs, such as:
- Delivery evaluation for the manufacturer (since the distributor manages delivery)?
- PPM / quality performance for the distributor (since they do not control the manufacturing process)?
