My question is focused on the control of documents. We implement an IMS, but as you are aware, we have common and specific clauses of the ISO standards for example 9001 & 14001 which call for common and specific documents (procedures, records, W.Is,). Now, in terms of document identification, can a specific procedure or record to 14001 or 9001 be called an IMS procedure, and can it bear an IMS code or number? Thank you!

Yes, you can call a specific procedure or form with a designation and code with the IMS included. The only requirement is being able to identify a document or record in a unique way to avoid confusions or doubts.
